THE SCOFFER...

PROVERBS references the SCOFFER often. The Hebrew word for SCOFFER is rather humorous. It literally means "TO MAKE MOUTHS AT." From a sneer to a grimace to pursed lips to twisted lips of disapproval to a facial shrug... the mouth is very active. "O, be careful little mouth what you say (or portray)."

Proverbs 13:1....

"But a scoffer does not listen to rebuke."

WON'T THAT BE GLORY?

AS A BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST:

Here below my mind is shrouded in finiteness; someday, when I soar to glory, it will be open to vistas of unimaginable wonder. Think of exploring God's numerous created orders with perfect intellect, unbounded strength, endless minutia, all in perfect harmony with others and for the glory of God alone. And then, to stroll home on gold streets for heavenly feasts in heavenly mansions.

"Now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face" 1 Corinthians 13:12.
